My 75 Hard Journey

Wow. Before we start, look up Andy Firsella - You won't regret it.

So first we will discuss what 75 hard is.

Its not some fitness challenge you take to lose weight, although that will happen within in the process.

  1. Must drink minimum of 1 gallon of water per day.

  2. Must exercise 2 times per day for 45 min. - at least 1 exercise outside.

  3. Must read 10 pages a day (no fiction books and no audio books).

  4. Must choose a diet for the 75 days (No cheat days).

  5. No alcohol.

  6. Take progress picture each day.

My experience with 75 Hard.

It's not easy - hence the name.

It's not for quitters or half assers. You dont pick and choose what you do and you dont cheat yourself. If you miss one of the necessary actions on the check list, you start over. Even if its day 74.

This program was one of the best things that I have chosen to involve myself in. It taught me so much about myself, as well as others. There were days when i wanted to quit so bad. For example, my wife was in boot camp in the coast and it was her graduation day. I flew in with her family to New Jersey. It was 20 degrees outside. Im from florida where 20 degrees DOES NOT happen. I still got it done. Knocked my outdoor exercise out at 5 am each day in the freezing cold. It didn't even phase me.

There is no more eating out or going to drink with friends which frees up a lot of time. I used that time to focus. Whether it was on getting an extra workout in, watching motivational videos, or making them. I was becoming better everyday and my perspective was shifting. Things that seemed to be difficult previously had become easier. I was radiating with motivation and preserverence. By day 75 I was a different person. Mentally, Physically, Emotionally.

Here is the link to Andy Firsellas website. As well as the 75 hard website. Go get after it!

Thanks Andy,
